John and I acquired our first golden retriever, Gildor, while we were living in England in 1972. Gildor was brought back to the States with us and helped raise our two children. He lived to the grand old age of fifteen and was strictly a family pet. After his death we bought a puppy that I began to take to conformation handling classes. That was the beginning of our fascination with the world of dog shows. We are hobby breeders who own a rather small number of Goldens. We are located in beautiful Chester County, PA approximately a forty minute drive west of Philadelphia and five minutes off exit 312 of the PA Turnpike. The site of Ludwig's Corner, where the Devon Dog Show is held annually, is five minutes away from us.

On occasion we do a breeding for ourselves and most often keep a puppy or two to raise, hopefully, to become our next show dog. The dogs are screened annually for eyes, heart and OFA clearances are obtained and only those who obtain their clearances and similarly cleared stud dogs are used in our breeding program.
